Concept

Improving 'Business viability of MSME' sector in India is an ongoing challenge. Complex factors like price-cost gaps, volume growth, product price point, BEP (Breakeven point), profit growth Vs revenue growth continue to challenge MSME sector.

CII TCM Division with its deeper understanding of MSME perspectives and business challenges, conceptualized TCM Maturity Model - MSME. The model addresses the MSME profitability growth through 'cost maturity improvement'.

Several benefits accrue from the model - enabling key business decisions like right product mix, customer mix, process cost optimization, mapping working capital clogs, make or buy decisions, good procurement practices and managing overall profitability of business.

The customized report post assessment provides a detailed action plan on 'profit improvement opportunities' across functions.

The model is the first of its kind in the world and CII holds an IPR (Intellectual Property Right)
